Olivier CHABAUD / Laurent LEVEQUE

Born in 1970 of high school teachers in Draguignan in the South of France, Olivier Chabaud starts dreaming of construction very early on and of creating his own universe beyond the landscape of his little village. It might be becoming an architect, an intuition which he confirms by moving to Marseille to start his education. Born in 1971 of architect parents in Suresnes, a Parisian suburb, Laurent Lévêque wishes to be impregnated by what surrounds him ; music through his mother, architecture via his father, and science which leads him to preparatory classes in mathematics. Caught up with boredom, he will recognize his freedom through a more creative path.Destiny will unite them on the benches of UP 9, a Parisian architecture school, where they will share projects, contests, and common references.With their degrees in architecture obtained, their paths will then separate : Olivier integrates l'Ensci-les-Atelier s in order to pursue a conceptual process in architecture whereas Laurent decides to work directly with architects, allowing him to confront his experience to fresh field problems.

In 2000, they decide to create their own agency, sealing their collaboration in architecture, interior design, scenography and product design.
